TOP 6 FREE WEBSITES TO TAKE ONLINE COURSES

You probably are thinking of getting another source of income and a side job that you can do online from the comfort of your room. You have a challenge of finding an online community to learn the skill you desire since most institutions of learning do not teach these courses offline.
Your only way is to find a website that can help you out. This can as well be a problem if you do not know which website is reliable and efficient enough to teach you courses related to your skill or service.
The websites I will be sharing in this post are different from your offline universities an colleges. You can learn at your own pace and time. Most of them are free and give you certifications at the end of your course. For others, they are not entirely free but they are well subsidized to make it possible for anyone in the world to learn.
Although there are a lot of online institutions of learning, I will be sharing ONLY six in this post.

1. Coursera
This is an online institution that provides education without a high school fee cost. They have professionals from around the world as tutors.
2. edX
With edX, you can learn from any part of the world, irrespective of race, language or region. You get certified at the end of the course. Harvard University is one of their partners.
Many persons know LinkedIn only as a Social Networking platform. That is only on the surface. With LinkedIn Learning, you can study courses in Business, language, technology, arts, sciences, etc. It is not completely free but for a start, you get one month free learning.
4. Alison
Alison is one of the best online colleges you can find. It is free. You can learn study science and technology, business, management, financial literacy, and administration related courses.
5. Udacity
This website is science based. It is free and offers certifications upon course completion. You can learn data science, programming, web development and software development for free.
6. Codecademy
This is specifically for learning how to code. It is free. Javascript, HTML, Ruby, Python and CSS can be learnt here.
What you need to learn in an online class:
1. A phone/laptop
2. Internet service
3. Writing materials
4. Time
